File Format Conversion
Considering the cornucopia of file formats used in computing, is it any surprise that we all occasionally get sent files that we cannot open or you get them open only to discover that you can't import / insert it into the application you want.
Given the nature of the design and imaging industries means that visualeze have built up over a period of time a suite of applications whose sole job is to convert files from one format to another. OCR
Visualeze use a high quality flatbed scanner capable of both text and image scans in combination with powerful Optical Character Recognition software to facilitate the conversion of paper text documents into digital plain text format for insertion into word processing and layout software.
With multi-language support built-in, this set-up is rarely defeated when it comes to converting paper to digital.
The OCR software also works with image files, so if you prefer you can take a high resolution photograph of the text with your digital camera and send the image file for conversion instead.
Repurposing PDF Documents
Both text and image based PDF documents can be handled by the OCR application. Useful to extract text or images for use in other applications. Not possible with password protected or otherwise encrypted documents!
